MIROTIC is NOT Banned in Japan

지난 주 방송한 「동방신기 스페셜」은
덕분에 큰 반향을 얻어, 12월에 재방송을 예정하고 있습니다.

벌써 매스컴의 보도로 알고 계시는 분도 많다고 생각합니다만,
동방신기의 「주문」이라는 곡이 한국 국내에서 「유해 지정」을 받았습니다.

이것은 한국의 청소년 보호 위원회의 판단입니다.
이 적용은 「주문」한국어 버젼에 관해서 한국 국내에 적용되는 것입니다.
일본어 버젼의 「주문」은, 일본인 작가의 다른 일본어가사가 붙여져 있습니다.
우리는 일본어 버젼을 TV에서 방송하는것에대해 아무 문제가 없다고 판단하고 있습니다.

최근 몇년 일본과 한국의 문화 교류가 진행되고 있습니다.
그러나 각각의 나라에는, 그 나라 독자적인 문화가 있는 도덕 기준도 있습니다.

프로그램을 관람하시는 여러분, 팬의 여러분도 그런 것을 이해하셔서,

I will try to give you a rough translation:

He said that the banning desicion that applies to MIROTIC Korea version is in regard to Korea only since that’s the decision of the Commission on Youth Protection in South Korea.

While the Japan version of MIROTIC won’t take the effect and it’s decided for all Japanese TV programmes, the broadcast of MIROTIC Japan version doesn’t have any problems.

The reason is that, eventhough Japan and South Korea in the last few years, there are cultural exchanges.. However, in each country, the country’s unique culture is the moral standards (T/N: I think that means the moral standard that is applied in South Korea and Japan is quite different, in Japan, MIROTIC is not considered as a harm to Japanese moral standard).

Seems that the banning issue of MIROTIC Korea ver has spread to Japan, so he tried to do some damage control as for MIROTIC Japan version.
